DECEMBER 15, 2020 (starting at 10 am)

Registration and poster placement
Company visit to FLAMAC*
Networking lunch and poster session
Keynote lectures and selected abstracts
Visit to Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant**, followed by networking drink
Conference dinner

*FLAMAC is a facility located in Ghent (Zwijnaarde), which has expertise in the high throughput screening of compounds and formulations. This expertise was used within the AppliSurf program to screen a portfolio of over 50 new types of biosurfactants. We offer a visit to the FLAMAC facilities for the first 25 people registering for this visit.”

**At Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant several biosurfactant production processes have been scaled up and some of those are currently being commercialized e.g. rhamnolipids (Evonik), xylolipids (Lanxess). On this tour you will get to visit the 4 process halls and labs and see with your own eyes the capabilities of this open access pilot plant focusing on bio-based processes”
